During the second quarter of 2024, the top five consumer finance apps in Norway displayed varying trends in downloads and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance:

DNB Mobile Bank experienced a decline in downloads initially, dropping from 7.4K in the first week of April to around 3K by the end of May. However, this was followed by a slight recovery, with downloads reaching approximately 3.4K by the last week of June. The app saw a similar trend in weekly active users, starting with 161K in early April and fluctuating around 140K to 145K during the quarter, ending at approximately 142K.

Mobilbank showed a more stable performance in terms of downloads, maintaining figures between 3.4K and 3.7K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users for Mobilbank also remained steady, ranging from 44K to 46K, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, peaking at around 46K.

Sbanken displayed a significant drop in downloads, starting at 9.5K in early April and decreasing steadily to just under 1K by the end of June. The app did not report any data on weekly active users.

Bank Norwegian maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with figures hovering around 1.8K to 2.1K. Weekly active users for Bank Norwegian showed minor fluctuations, starting at 13.9K and peaking at 15.1K in early June, before ending the quarter at approximately 14.1K.

Nordea Mobile - Norway had stable download numbers, ranging from 1.6K to 1.9K. Weekly active users remained relatively constant as well, starting at 15.3K in early April and ending at 15.2K by the end of June, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.
